Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Phonara ("Phonara", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Phonara website at phonara.online and the Phonara application (together, the "Service"). Phonara is a tool that monitors Google Ads accounts for billing thresholds and click trends and pauses campaigns according to rules you set.
1. Information we collect
Information from your Google Account
When you sign in with Google and grant access, we receive only the information covered by the permissions you approve:
- Basic profile (
openid, email, profile): your name, email address and profile picture, used to identify you and sign you in. - Google Ads (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords): the IDs and names of the Google Ads accounts you can access, and for those accounts, campaign names, types, status and daily budgets, and performance metrics such as clicks, impressions, cost, conversions and conversion value.
Information you provide
- Settings you configure, such as which accounts to watch, threshold percentages, schedules and alert destinations.
- Lists and notes you create, such as partner or client names linked to campaigns.
- Files you choose to upload, such as payment reports, which are used only to show totals in your dashboard.
- Messages you send to us.
Technical information
Our servers record standard request logs (IP address, browser type, time and page requested) to keep the Service secure and working. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: show your accounts, balances, campaigns and click trends in your dashboard.
- To act on your rules: change a campaign's status to Paused when a rule you configured is met. We do not create, edit or delete campaigns, ads, keywords or budgets.
- To send you the alerts and reports you set up.
- To answer questions you ask the analysis assistant about your own accounts.
- To keep the Service secure, fix problems, and respond to your requests.
3. Google user data
Phonara's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use or transfer it for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions or any purpose unrelated to the Service.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We transfer Google user data to third parties only as needed to provide features you use (see section 4), to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your notice.
- No person reads your Google user data unless you give us permission (for example, to help with a support request), it is needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or it is required by law.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Hosting provider: our servers and their storage.
- OpenAI: only when you use the analysis assistant, the campaign metrics needed to answer your question are sent to OpenAI's API with storage disabled. We do not send payer names or email addresses from uploaded reports.
- Telegram: only if you set up Telegram alerts, the alert text about your accounts is sent to the chat you choose.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Service.
5. Storage and security
Information is stored on servers we control. Connections to the Service use HTTPS, access to the dashboard requires a password, and access credentials are kept on the server only. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Retention
- Campaign metrics cover the last 14 days and are replaced at each refresh.
- Check history is kept for about two weeks.
- Settings, lists and uploaded files are kept until you delete them or ask us to.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- When you disconnect your Google Account or ask us to delete your data, we delete the Google user data we hold within 30 days.
7. Your choices
- You can revoke Phonara's access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@phonara.online.
8. Children
Phonara is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Service.
